Dr. Brian E. Haggard is the Director of Arkansas Water Resources Center and Professor in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas. In 2000, he received his Ph.D. in Biosystems Engineering from Oklahoma State University. The Center uses its resources to help address water research needs in Arkansas, where Dr. Haggard’s research focuses on water quality and how it’s changing.

Dr. Brad Austin is a Research Scientist at the Arkansas Water Resources Center and serves as the lab manager for the Certified Water Quality Laboratory. He earned his doctoral degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Arkansas in May 2015. In his role as a research scientist, Brad oversees the daily operations of the laboratory and coordinates field services across the region. He manages research projects focused on water quality and communicates findings through fact sheets and peer-reviewed journal articles.

Erin Grantz​ is a Program Associate with the Arkansas Water Resources Center and has been with the Division of Agriculture since 2011. She completed a Master of Science degree in Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science at the University of Arkansas in 2010. Erin’s role is managing the 104(b) research funding, conducting research investigating long-term water quality trends in the region, and communicating this information through scientific publication.
